I wanted to write a little post about my favourite day out in England – Holkham Beach. I love this beach and I go there all year round. My favourite thing about it is that there is nothing there.. no arcade, no shops, not even a loo! It’s the best place for a picnic and a long walk. There’s also an amazing fish and chip shop ‘French’s Fish&Chips’ in the neighbouring town Wells-next-the-Sea, a short drive away. Being by the sea always makes me feel better about everything, especially somewhere as beautiful and tranquil as Holkham.

HOLKHAM IN THE WINTER

Now, obviously nobody wants to be on a beach when it’s raining or snowing, but I love going to Holkham on a crisp winters day just as much as I do on a summer scorcher. These photos were taken last month, in February, and show that Holkham in the winter is just as pretty.
