WHERE: West Wales – Abaraeron, New Quay, Mwnt
WHEN: June 2015
HOW LONG FOR : A long weekend
So, ANOTHER post on Wales. I loved exploring north Wales so much that I went back for more, and this time I headed west. I’ll be honest with you- our main reason for going was to visit my boyfriend’s family, who are dairy farmers. I had visited the farm once before, but there was so much rain (which is fairly typical of the west country) that I saw little more than the farmhouse. This time, though, the weather was beyond beautiful and I was able to truly make the most of what this gorgeous corner of the world had to offer!

We took time to explore the surrounding area of Ceredigion, and it was so beautiful. When we got back to the farm, my boyfriend said “I never realised we live in such a nice place!”. It just goes to show, we spend so much time (and money) trying to travel far and wide, but sometimes there are little hidden treasures right on your doorstep! If you have a (sunny) weekend free in the UK, I implore you to take yourself over to this neck of the woods. Beautiful beaches, heavenly hilltop views and charming coastal towns = a perfect weekend break.
