HOW LONG FOR: An Afternoon
Wicken Fen is a national trust nature reserve just north of Cambridge, in England. I had heard from a few friends that the fen is the perfect place for a weekend walk, and they were right!
Thanks to the low afternoon light just before sunset, which I believe is called the ‘golden hour‘ in the photography world, the marsh hay was glowing a rich orange that gave the whole place such a warm whimsical feeling despite it being the middle of winter.
