Driving The Icefields Parkway

DSCF3283

We drove from Jasper to Banff via the Icefields Parkway. The most amazing road EVER. It’s dotted with incredible scenery, viewpoints and wildlife (we spotted 2 black bears) . I think I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves below. We stopped at the Crossing Resort on the way for lunch, where we shared a pulled pork sandwich (this was totally enough for 2 people!).

Peyto Lake

We followed the signs for Bow Summit to get the most beautiful view of Peyto Lake. It’s quite a steep walk from the parking lot, but it’s not too far. And yes, it’s really that blue.
